Big. Fat. Gross.

This past week with the kids has also been super bad on my diet. To be 100% truthful though, I have not been doing all that great for a month or so. I have not been eating badly all this time (like junk food or whatever) but I have not eaten the right stuff and enough of it. I have not stuck to my calorieking.com food journal and I've been skipping meals (mostly breakfast).

Being here with the kids has mad things so much worse though. I've mainly eaten Special K cereal in the morning but there was that one morning that D wanted blueberry muffins and I had one of those. I've skipped a few lunches and then eaten a lot at suppertime. I cooked most nights- spaghetti and meatballs, chili, hamburgers, roast and gravy, tacos, stuff like that. BUT, we did have pizza last night and there has been King Cake. I didn't eat but a small sliver of that. Oh, and I've had ice cream, too. Oh, it's so gross to write out.

We are going to be going out for my birthday, too. Mom and dad get home tonight and so I guess we'll be going tomorrow or one night this week. I think I'm going to pick Bonefish Grill . I'll probably get this fish and the house salad. That salad is so fantastic.

I was actually thinking of doing the Master Cleanse . I know that you will probably say, "Don't do it! You'll get so hungry," or something like that. Thing is, I'm sure that I'm fatter than you. And you. One of the main things I'm worrying about is not having the energy to work out. I NEED to get back to sweating it out and exercise. If you have some kind of cleanse or special diet that I can do to jump start myself- let me know!

If I decide to do the MC, I'll let you know. I'll probably blog about it. Also, I'm going to start posting again on my diet blog. I'll also be posting A LOT on my tv blog soon. I have so many shows on my DVR.

I Can Eat It

Just wanted to let ya'll know that Kelli has started a public recipe blog called Can You Eat This? She has asked me (and some others) to be a contributor and I am very excited about it. I loooove to cook and I looooove to eat. Click on over for the introductions and the explanation of the blog name.

Also, I just made this and OH MY LAWD it is fabulous. Blue and I are loving it. I altered it just a little by using some Guidry's Creole Seasoning instead of an onion (that is chopped yellow onion, bell pepper, garlic, celery, and parsley), regular Ro*tel and no jalapeno (because I didn't have one). It's so freaking good- we may be fighting over it.

Happy 2009.

Over It

Christmas came and went and left boxes and paper and cards in it's wake. Today, that is what I am dealing with. I want the boxes to leave. I want the new presents to find a home (not my dining room table). I want the glitter and tinsel and fake berry garland to climb back into the big Rubbermaid box and hibernate until next December.

I want my regular tv schedule back. I'm sick of reruns and cheesy holiday movies and specials. I want my House and Desperate Housewives and GOSSIP GIRL!! I did watch more Weeds and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Netflix Instant Movie Queue. Fab.

I am NOT over the holiday food. We are serious about food over here and my grandmother and Mom are excellent cooks. I love fried turkey and we had that for Christmas at Mom and Dad's. I still have a little bit left in a baggie and I want it but I don't want it to be gone! Ditto for the sweet potato crunch. I love, love, love sweet potato crunch. And the cornbread dressing. It was all just delish! I got a scale and I found out that I LOST 3.5 pounds since December 12. YAY!!

So, are you over it?

Fab Food!

I eat so many apples it's ridiculous. If you are what you eat, I am a PINK LADY apple. Seriously, I eat at least one a day, if not more.

This week, however, they did not have Pink Lady apples where I went to the grocery so I bought some Honeycrisps. Oh my granny they are absolutely fabulous. I love, love, love them.

Also, go see my friend Crissy for some fabulous gourmet dips, spreads, brownie and cornbread mixes and other goodies at her Etsey shop. She is great! Tell her that I sent you ;)

P.S. I'm also craving chips and salsa lately. Let's do Mexican this weekend! No? P.F.Changs for SIL's birthday!! (it's Friday)

In Chaos, Minty Bliss

MAV and I had to run to WaL-MaRt for some things earlier. It was a madhouse. Grown people acting like complete and total fools. There were people behaving in ways that I cannot stand. Three grown men, probably mid-20s, were walking in the middle of the aisle, wearing sunglasses and pretending to be blind. They were knocking things off of the shelves and running into the racks. It was obnoxious.

I fought my way through the store with my buggy (stop laughing. That is what we call them here) and my MAV (not easy because she is quite possibly the slowest human being on the planet-is it all children?). But. BUT!!! On our way to get the taco shells for our supper, we encountered a huge display of Limited Edition Old Fashioned Candy Cane Creme Oreos. How am I possibly supposed to diet when things like this exist?

I bought one package and we each ate two after dinner. I LOVED them. They have the same amount of creme as the double stuffed Oreos but the creme is flavored with peppermint- like a candy cane. It's delicious. I had a cookie "pure" as this girl describes and one cookie "with milk." As with every other cookie (especially the Oreo), "with milk" is always better.
MAV's review, "They're yummy!"

Giving Thanks

I am fine. Monday was not a great day. I was just remembering a bad time in my life and so I was feeling sad. The depression, it comes and it goes. It's like a big thick fog that settles over me, weighing me down with memories. Then, it passes. I appreciate all the love.

Monday night, I took Maria to see Twilight. I loved it. I LOVED it. I did not LOVE the books. This is a peculiar change for me. I usually do not LOVE the movie. I guess that is if I LOVED the book though. I think the reason I LOVED the movie though is because of the problems I had with the book(s). I liked the idea the writer had but the writing was sometimes very slow. The movie was pretty fast paced (no two hours of Bella moping around doing the same ol' thing like she does for the entire middle of the books) and dramatic. It was also pretty cheesy but I expected a little cheese.

I like the guy who played Edward. I really, really liked him in the movie. I did not like the girl who played Bella. I don't think she is "beautiful" only cute. I think her mouth/chin is weird, distractingly so and I think that THIS girl would've been better. That's just me.

My godchild, MAV, is here with me. I went and picked her up yesterday. She will come with Blue and me to the camp tomorrow for Thanksgiving. My parents, Little Bro, Gus and Gus' family will be there, too. On the menu:

I don't know what the dessert will be because Gus' mom is bringing it. I think. OH, and I think maybe Gus is making 24-hour-salad. Maybe(?). I guess if she or mom read this, they will let us know. If you are interested in the recipe for any of these dishes, let me know.

I'm going to bring a bag of Steam Fresh mixed veggies, too. I'll still eat everything above but just a little bit of it. I'll try to fill up on turkey and regular veggies. TRY TO. But, as of now, I'm very thankful that I've lost the 14lbs that I have already.

Cleansing

I'm so hungry for pancakes. Two Sundays ago, I made some sweet potato ones with walnuts and they were dee-lish. I didn't even use syrup, just a spray of butter (or not). I want some RIGHT NOW. I've been wanting them again since, ummm, I ate the last bite and Andie's post today didn't help.

I am sick with a sore throat and runny nose. My glands are swollen and I'm sneezing, too. I had this same thing three months ago and it is not fun. My body aches and all I really wanna do is whine and lay around and eat. I cannot though. I have papers to sign and others to get together and people to call. I have a house to clear of it's junk. You have no idea of the junk, trash, clutter. I'm getting a DUMPSTER put in my driveway. Yes, i am. I'm thrilled about it because it will make my life so much easier.

I'm going to have a Garage Sale (capitolized) with my friend, Melissa. She is helping me with the de-cluttering. I gave her a ton (two garbage bags FULL) of stuff just out of my bathroom today. The shopping I have done! I had so many lotions, creams, gels, sprays, make ups, glosses, and more, more, more. Melissa has a preteen daughter who would like the stuff I gave her. I want to start fresh in the new house.

I am getting rid of my couch, recliner, dining table, fridge, entertainment center, microwave, washer and dryer, white wicker vanity with mirror and a side table. I'm sooooo tempted to just throw it all away. I know that I should not and I need to sell it or give it to charity. This furniture is ugly but most of it good. Will people buy it? Who knows about these things?

How To Heal A Broken Heart

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, want this purse.... I love it! It's big and roomy and laid back and pretty. It's buttery leather like my green one but it's by Lucky Brand Jeans. It comes in tan and black and I can get it in goldenrod, too. IF I bought it, I'd go for the tan because I just like that color the best. I need a black bag but the tan one is better.

Fireworks, Crabs and An Alligator

Happy late Independence Day, kids! We are having a blast here. We had a BBQ yesterday and watched fireworks. We had wonderful food and great company. It was hot but fun. We even rode in the boat at dusk.

Today, we had a crab boil and fried shrimp. Oh good grief!! It was fantastic. I love boiled crabs. We saw a HUGE alligator in the water, too. He was giant. Daddy fed him a crab and he opened his mouth to eat it.

My cousin and her family are down the road at a campground. It's so nice to see them all. It's great to do simple things and enjoy each other. Nothing makes me happier than being with my family, nothing. I'm hot and dirty and stinky, though. It's OK. I love it.

I hope everyone remembered to be thankful to our brave military who make it possible for us to be free and be with our families. There are so many men and women who are away from their families right now. They have fought for our rights to be free: free to disagree with what they do, free to blog about our opinions, free to pray to the god of our choice, free to hold our children close.

Happy Independence Day, ya'll!
God Bless America!

I really Just Want Cake

I am sick of thinking up things to cook. It feels like we have the same things all the time. L is no help at all because when I ask him, "What do you want for supper?" He tells me, "I don't care." That is annoying. Especially knowing that he does care. I am an OK cook. I just don't have much of an imagination these days. I have some cookbooks, but some of them just seem like a joke. Where do these people find the ingredients? That is too fattening! I can't do THAT!

Also, my oven is broken. It has been broken for forever. My daddy bought me a slow cooker so that has been good. I need to call a guy and get it fixed. I'm dragging my feet about it though because it's such a pain. We live in a rent house, see. I know I should call my landlords. I know, I should. It's such a loooong story. If only it were that easy! I guess I would rather pay the money. It can't cost that much. Right? Right?

I have a freezer full of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, hamburger meat, some sausage, porkchops, basic stuff. I just need some ideas for what to cook. I always cook- jambalaya, spaghetti, roast, tacos, rice and gravy. I have not made red beans and rice in a while but it's something I cook a lot and not from a can. L loves it. That is the other thing. He doesn't like some stuff, like meatloaf. Hmmm, he does like shepherd's pie, but I gotta have the oven. Sorry! Thinking out loud.

What do you cook? What do you want to eat? I'm so sick of thinking about this.

Enter At Your Own Risk

L snored last night and I thought I was going to kill him. Seriously, when he snores like that I fantasize about a cute little apartment BY. MYSELF. Then he tells me that he's not snoring. Why would I be awake at 2:34 AM, elbowing you, telling you to STOP THE SNORING FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY!!!! if you are not snoring? Sweetie? Huh, why? Why would I make that up?

Yesterday, he came here to bring me to the bank (long story) at lunchtime. After we did what we had to there, he drives thru Wendy's. What? He knows that french fries are my weakness and that I cannot have them. I was strong people. I only ate 3. I wanted to get a bucket the size of my head, fill it up with steamy hot fries and order a chocolate frosty, but I got it together. I ordered a tiny little grilled chicken wrap with no cheese. I did have a Diet Coke which I said I wasn't going to do but sue me. I have PMS. Is that obvious?

Tonight we are going HERE for Maria and Madison's birthday celebration. Blue and I have never been and neither has MaMaw. I'll love it because I love everything but Blue, not so much. He's not an adventurous eater at all. He loves the girls, though. Maria's 15th was May 28th and Madison will be 13 on June 10th. He and Madison have a very special bond. She fell head-over-heels in love with him the day they met. She was 3 or 4 years old and was playing dress up. She went to put on a big princess-style dress and got him to slow-dance with her. She melted his heart. Biiiiiig time. She thinks he hung the moon and is her boyfriend. He adores her and takes her side over everyone else.

I got an invite to a diaper shower. How is that different from a regular shower? This is her second pregnancy and she is having twins, a boy and a girl. It's for my cousin, Robby's, wife. The twins are due in August sometime. I would already get them something so, I don't care if she has a shower or not. What do you think about showers? Did you have wedding & baby showers?

So that is all for now. I'm off to wash more clothes. Sorry for the mood...

The Big Diet

I promise that pictures of the vacation are coming. I am going grocery shopping today. I am beginning my diet this week. I am so scared. I'm not afraid that I won't be able to do it per se, but that I won't know how. Does that make any sense? I'm not very knowledgeable about what I'm supposed to eat for every meal. I need food that fills me up or I'll end up aggravated and then just splurging. I've joined WeIgHt WatChErS online and I'm probably going to go to the meetings and things like that.

I'm very excited about loosing weight. I'm way too heavy and it's embarrassing and it hinders me. I want to travel and go places, do things, see things. My brother, Justin, proposed to Shannon (AKA Gus) on our trip and I REFUSE to be uncomfortable and heavy for the wedding. I have a year- I think. That is what I understood from them. I'm the Matron of Honor, too. I can't look like I'm about to eat the rest of the bridal party (or like I ate one before I got to the wedding).

Do you "diet"? I don't want to be on some strict DIET. I'm against things that restrict entire food groups because I don't think that is healthy. I believe in eating real foods that God gave us. I am going to try to eat smaller portions, more fruits and veggies, lean proteins, drink more water and exercise. NO MORE FRENCH FRIES!

Also, do you take a vitamin or daily supplements of any kind? Do you know people who do? What do you take? I'm going to do some research on THESE. If you have any info on them, let me know! I don't know what else I should take besides Folic Acid. Thoughts?

Feeling (Felt) A Little Ambitious

Maybe it was the dose of NyQuilL I took, maybe it was the bowl of broccoli soup my mom sent (thanks again for the recipe, A!) or the three chocolate kisses I had (Hello! Dieting!!) but, I got a sudden feeling of ambition. I decided to try to post the Sugar Bowl pics and other pics I have. Well, it came and it went. *sigh* I'm exhausted now, again.

It takes forever, for-ev-er, for blogger to upload the pictures. Never took that long for other pictures to upload... Plus, I have such a problem with formatting. I can never get the pictures to be in order and the Sugar Bowl pictures are part of a story, ya know? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Moving along...

My chicken schwarma plate from lunch a few weeks ago
Muffin eating pizza and drinking milk at my mama's house a week or so ago. I think he was pointing at me, telling me to stop taking his picture.

Muffin does not eat pizza but, my brother, Justin ordered one and he decided he wanted a piece. He thought Justin was the coolest! He went upstairs and watched him play "Guitar Hero" and danced all around. Then he'd tell me, "Justin play guitar on da tv." Love him!!

Soup For Me

Never fear, I got my soup!! My mommy made some delicious potato soup and brought it to me (along with real bacon and cheese). It was beyond! She also brought me soup we ate a few weeks ago. She made a big pot and froze it. It's from a recipe I got from my lovely friend, Lindsay.

It's 2:43 AM and I'm having trouble sleeping. It's the coughing and the nose stuffy-ness. I took BenAdryL Allergy & Cold. That's what I've been taking.

I cried during DHs, you know, first 5 minutes. I know, I'm a loser. Plus, the scenes between Bree & Susan were good. I with you, Geggie, Cashmere Mafia was so ugh. I will watch again in case it was me (and because what else is there?) but, 'eh. I didn't make it through the whole hour. I've been hearing (and thought myself) that Lipstick Jungle would be it. I like the cast of LJ better (Brooke Shields, Kim Raver, Lindsay Price) and it is by the same writer.

Thanks for all your well wishes! Especially Lindsey, for offering me soup in a freaking CAN! My best friend!! How sweet... Lys, your soup sounds so great.

Don't forget to go visit Geggie to enter to win fabulous Burt's Bees products (LOVE! Used my ginger body wash tonight) and get money donated to your favorite charity, too! Please tell her Shoeaddict sent you.

Christmas Weekend Plans

Christmas weekend is what I'm calling it because just looking forward to Christmas is ridiculous! Christmas is just one day for goodness sakes and we have plans of Christmas joy on a few days other than just Christmas Day. I'm sure everyone else does, too. This way, all the build-up is not for the one day but, the weekend. Especially if you have family or friends coming in town or you are going out.

We are not going to Georgia. We have only spent one married Christmas in Georgia. I have a hard time with it and it's not important enough to Blue that we go so, we don't. I'm sure that when we have a baby things (may) will change but, until then... His parents are planning to come here in February. He just saw them on his way back from Florida, too. They sent us our presents and we got them last night. I got some Sterling Silver jewelry and a fleece from Old Navy. Luke got a deep fryer and a UGA cooler.

So, the plans. Tonight we are going to mom and dad's for supper. They have not been home for awhile so, it's just a get together. It'll just be "us"- I think. (Us= mom, dad, Luke, Justin, Gus, and me). Bowl games are on, DVRs are full, maybe presents to open (?) Lots to talk about. Attire- jeans, cahz

Saturday- Luke is going to a party, Lin is coming to help me wrap presents.

Sunday- Christmas with the "H" side of the family. This is my daddy's side. We will go to my Nanny's house (she is my dad's sister). LOTS of people. Nanny has 3 children: Robby (married to Cathleen; daughter Arlee, 3, newly pregnant), Jennifer (married to Clint; sons Hunter 6, Mason 3, pregnant with baby boy #3), & Cody (engaged to Carrie). Everyone will be there except Cody & Carrie. We only give gifts to the children. Or try to, at least. My Nanny is resistant. Attire- I will wear maybe dark denim and a tunic/flowy blouse, red patent flats or black suede wedges. It depends on the weather. It's hot today! Luke will wear khaki pants and a polo style pullover.

Monday- Christmas Eve evening has been with the "M" side of the family since before I was born. It's always at my grandparents' house. In attendance- "Us", mamaw, papa, Keith, Susan, Maria, Madison, McKenzie and Daniel. We only buy gifts for the children (fun!) Our family adopts other families to buy presents, clothes, food, etc for and it's so much fun! We eat turkey, brisket (sometimes), ham, sweet potato crunch, rice dressing, cornbread dressing, and who knows what else? Attire- Dressier- I'll wear grey trousers (cuffed) and a pretty red top. Luke will wear slacks and a button-down shirt.

Tuesday- Christmas Day at mom and dad's. This is new. We usually do Christmas Day with the "H" family, one year at mom and dad's, the next year at Nanny's. This year, we are doing that early so, Christmas Day at the manse! No clue what we'll do- watch football, eat, open our presents to each other... That night, we'll play LCR with our family friends. Attire- jeans or jean skirt?

I'm so excited. I have no idea if I'm going to make anything or not. Lindsey makes Oreo balls and since Luke and I love Oreos maybe I'll make those.

I'm sure I'll still be posting because I like it and things don't seem like they'll be too crazy. What are your plans for Christmas weekend?

Merry Christmas from Shoeaddict!

I'm All About

I'm always wondering what people are reading, eating, watching, etc. I'm always all about something. It's just so me. I thought I'd give you a peek into what I'm All About right now (that's the key phrase).

I love candles. I have several of these Votivo Red Current ones around the house. I also love Henri Bendel candles. Lindsey gave me this Lavender Leaves one and since I've been having a migraine for three days- I've been burning it. I also have Mimosa and Tuberose. I want Fig and Firewood.

I always loved Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream but over the Thanksgiving weekend, Justin bought me this. Ben & Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie! It's soooo amazingly delish. My absolute favorite ice cream is cookies and cream or Oreo or something like that so this is PERFECT! Yummy.
Our microwave doesn't turn anymore. I don't know why. So, I cannot pop popcorn. I bought a few bags of it at the store the other day. I got Smartfood white cheese popcorn and it's sooooo yummy. I opened a bag of this stuff last night and it's just weird. Weirdly fascinating. Puffcorn. It's like non-food, air, butter flavored. I saw that they have cheese flavored and I'm ashamed to admit that I'll probably buy some.
I drink regular Diet Coke in the A.M.- maybe one (two if it's a bad day) but, caffeine doesn't do well with me after that. So, I've been drinking this before switching to water. It's so good. I am still drinking A LOT- remember how I told you that I drink so much. Yeah, still do.
This is the book I'm reading. I started it on Sunday. It is excellent. It's about two girls, Sally Rose and Clare Mann, who meet in college and become best friends. The book follows the two through life: marriages, divorces, births, deaths, joys, and pains. The book is really good. I have not finished it, yet but I plan to tonight. Anyone else read it?
I watched this movie, Waitress, yesterday afternoon. It was written and directed by Adrienne Shelly (who also had a part in the movie). She was sadly murdered in her office apartment in November of last year, before the movie went to the Sundance Film Festival. Her two-year-old daughter, Sophie, has a cameo in the movie. I'm drawn to the movie because I love, love, love Keri Russell. I also am drawn to the story of Adrienne Shelly. I am a woman writer and was an actress. Her husband started The Adrienne Shelly Foundation for woman filmmakers. I would love to be a screenwriter, director, actor.
As far as the movie, it's about Jenna (Keri Russell) a waitress who makes incredible pies. She is in a terrible marriage and becomes pregnant. She is not happy to be and that's very poignant and real. Not every mother is jumping for joy. It's not really a feel good movie but, I really loved it. It was funny and sad. Andy Griffith gives a fabulous performance.

If I'm not dying of pain from the migraine, I'll be watching these shows tonight. It's the finale of ANTM. I want Chantal to win. I am so praying for the writers strike to be over because it's seriously going to depress me when all my shows go away for good.

Now it's your turn. What are you reading, watching, doing, loving, loving, loving?

Life with the Fam

I know I have not written a what's-up-with-me-what-I've-been-doing kind of post in a long time so, I thought I'd go ahead and do that. I'm using the big text (large instead of normal) because I like it. I have a large handwriting so, this is what I'm used to.

I've been staying at my parent's house ever since they came home from France. It's been about a month. It's a two-story house with 5 bedrooms and 3 (?) baths. Upstairs is my brother's room (he lives here), a living room with his couch, big, huge TV and stereo, Nintendo Wii (he just got Guitar Hero- so fun!), his bathroom, the "guest bedroom" (where I'm staying), "guest bathroom", mom's sewing room, another bathroom and I think that's all. I literally get confused!

I've never had my own bathroom before. I shared one with Justin and then with Luke so this is just awesome! Plus, they always have great food. My parents are the best cooks. My mom just got The Biggest Loser cookbook and she made this eggplant lasagna stuff. OH GOOD LAWD it's awesome. It's just eggplant and cheese and tomato sauce, but you could add meat (ground beef, turkey, what have you) and make a meal. Deee-lish! I love eggplant.

After supper is eaten and the kitchen is cleaned, mom, the two doggies and I sit down to watch the shows of the night. Over here things vary a little for me. I have my DVR set at home for the shows that mom doesn't watch and that I cannot watch online (Gossip Girl, Law and Order, etc). There are some shows that we both were already watching (Grey's, Cane, Dancing with the Stars), but she watches some that I wasn't. Now, I'm hooked on them! These include: The Biggest Loser, The Bachelor, Survivor: China and The Amazing Race.

I watch TAR, but it just premiered Sunday the 4th. I watched a few seasons of The Bachelor , but the premise is really sick and the couples never stay together! Now, I'm all rooting for Jenni and thinking Brad has sexy hands. I still think the whole thing is sick, though. I'd never do it. I want my man to have known that I was the girl for him before he "tried it out" with 24 other girls. I don't want to (and am not going to) put on a dog and pony show for anyone to "love" me. No ma'am, not this girlie!

I know I have the separate TV blog. I'ma post over there, too cause I have sooooo much to say! Like where is Dirty Sexy Money? Mama doesn't watch that and I've watched all the ones online but, it seems that we're missing a few weeks. AND I'm loving Samantha Who? (I am a big, damn deal). Yes, ya'll, I know. I'm a pathetic girl who loves TV. And her mama.

I also wanted to let you know (those of you who don't know) that Luke is working. We are not separated or divorcing! Everything is great on the home front. I realize that reading about me being at my parents' house and not mentioning the hubs could make it seem like that. Thanks for asking, though. :) I still love him like crazy and he, of course (!), loves me, too. We are going to begin making baby plans soon, actually. Well, plans are being made, daddy just needs to come home and some other things need to be worked out. Hopefully 2008 will be the year of Shoeaddict's 1st successful pregnancy. *fingers crossed* *prayers*

That's all I have for you now. Except for this reminder- don't forget that I often post more than once a day so, if you see something new, scroll until you see last thing you saw. *sighs at unbelievably stupid sentence* You know what I mean, right? I'm often afraid that things get lost in the shuffle.

Random Randomness

I cannot. Stop. Drinking. I'm gonna drown myself! I drink and drink and drink. It's never enough. I have my (must have) Diet Coke as soon as I wake up, then as soon as I've drank the last drop of that, it's on to my other decaffeinated beverages. I drink Diet root beer, sweet tea, Crystal Lite and water. I cannot stop with the drinking...

My parents and grandparents are in France and then will be in Germany. I HATE when they leave me even though I'm 26 years old. I also don't see any of the four everyday. I talk to them all (except my PaPa) every single day, perhaps more than once. I see my dad more usually. I see daddy during the week and I don't always see my mom. My mom is very busy. She has a very, very busy and important job. She works out with her personal trainer twice-a-week, she gets her nails done once a week and well, she has stuff. I talk to her on the phone and we email. I can get her if I want. Same with my Mamaw. We talk all the time. She is so cute.

I'm making baked tillapia. I put some salt, pepper and lemon stuff on it. I also have a bag of frozen corn-on-the-cob (the steaming bag). Hmmmmmmm, should I make the black beans, too? Input.

Alexis Bledel is so very beautiful. I'm watching a Gilmore Girls re-run. She is stunning and so is Lauren Graham. Speaking of GG, Melissa McCarthy is on Samantha Who? and I am so so so excited!! I liked the show, did y'all see it? I talked about it on the other blog.

I am tres upset about the state of TV tonight! No House! FOX is taken over by Major League Baseball. So, Beauty and the Geek at 7, then ??? at 8, then Law & Order:SVU and Cane at 9. I'm also just adding, adding, adding shows to the list. VH1 is evil. Now, I'm all in lurve with America's Most Smartest Model. Have you seen it?

I had a dream that roaches were in ALL of my food. They were dead but still!! They were in my cereal boxes, chip bags, cookies, pasta bags, tea boxes, etc... GROSS! Probably a sign that (1) I need to CLEAN. Badly. And (2) those foods shouldn't be consumed by me. *SIGH*

I'm sooo boring. I know.

*I know I use LOTS of labels but, whatever...*
