Faux Twitter

I set up a Twitter account but never finished. I guess I should say that I started setting up one... Same with Facebook. I'm truly lame, I know. Whatever. So, I'm just gonna tell you how boring I really am right here.

-woke up at 12:30AM because the PUNK who lives near us was having himself a par-tay! My freaking windows were rattling and so were my nerves. I woke Luke up to be sure that he was equally annoyed. What!?! He didn't have to wake up tooooo early this morning.
-12:55AM L & I huddled in the bathroom in the dark peeking out the window at the punks.
-1:11AM Cops finally come and shoo punks into the shed
-1:14 AM Cops leave and punks start hopping again. Did I mention that a party to them includes YELLING? Everyone takes turns, too.
-9:23 AM Wake up and feed Layla who is annoyed that her beauty sleep was interrupted by idiots last night.
-11:52 AM Leave to go eat lunch and then go ride through our new neighborhood (!). We wanna see what is going on in the middle of the day on Saturdays. It turns out that it's quite and no one is hanging around acting like a bunch of punks.
-1:56 PM L goes to take a nap.
-2:00 PM I begin playing tons of different computer games because I'm addicted to them.
-2:58 PM NOW... I'm writing about my boring-ness
-5:04 PM Ummm, now I'm all set up to Twitter folks! I'm following some of you but only two people are following me.
-5:05 PM watching Everybody Loves Raymond and getting ready to go to Lindsey's house.

What's Goin On- Non-Celeb News (UPDATE- 10:19 PM)

I watched What Not to Wear last night. I love that show and would love to have Stacey's job. I would love to be their friend because they are hilarious. I don't think that Stacey is pretty per Se, she is attractive, though. Last night, the first episode was about a girl who had dreadlocks for 10 years. Uhhh! You could smell her through the TV. Her clothes had holes and stains and Stacey cracked me up. Neither one of them wanted to touch her, her hair or her clothes. She had some kind of wonky pinkie toe thing going on, too. Oh, and dreadlock girl- her name was KRISTEN! Great. She had the shoes with HOLES in them where her wonky pinkie toe poked out and it was weird.
I love when Stacey says, "If those were the last shoes on Earth, I'd cut off my feet!"

I'm watching this weeks America's Next Top Model. I'm not going to lie. I cannot because people who know me (Lin, Sarah C., Mom) read this and WILL call me out because they are like that!! I am not the type of girl who thinks she's ugly. Fat, yes. I've never been the type who thought I was ugly because I'm not. I don't think I'm about to knock Heidi Klum off her pedestal but, ugly I am not. Anyway, I am still amazed at these girls on ANTM. When I was younger and thinner, I was not bitchier. I can't believe the mean that some of these girls spew at each other! I guess it makes for good TV but, I just want to see pretty locations, clothes and makeup. Oh, and Nigel- he's a hottie. I also love Miss J and Jay the director. Tyra. *sigh* I have so many different feelings about her. She's over-the-top which I don't have a problem with as I've been known to have a certain flair for the dramatic. She is just a little inconsistent at times with her beliefs.

Tonight, as I was driving down to the little grocery to get milk, I got to listen to one of Luke's CD's that he just made. Green Day's "Time of Your Life" came on and stirred up my feelings. Green Day has been a band that Luke and I have enjoyed during our love. Luke and I are music people. He plays the guitar. We bonded over that because I grew up listening to my beloved daddy playing the guitar. We also really, really, really loved Nirvana. I remember being in a very different stage my freshman year than my friends. I listened to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Better Than Ezra, Smashing Pumpkins,Bush, Stone Temple Pilots and I had a flannel shirt that I wore ALL.THE.TIME. But, I was still totally girly and boy CRAZY and what not.
Luke was like me but, a boy! He was a very popular (I was NOT popular) football player who had lots of friends and girl friends. He was a jock, a prep, and into all the grunge band stuff. Now, we are the same way. We love "jam bands" like Widespread Panic. Luke is a major Grateful Dead fan. We just don't fit into a mold.
Back to the song. "I hope you had the time of your life." The time of your life. WOW. When have you had the time of your life? That's a big question, for me anyway. Even though I think it's a Whoa thing, I can tell you when I had the time of my life. It was the first week I spent with Luke. Then, the other couple of weekends we spent together when we were first together. Our first week together was SO much fun. There was the beach which I love. Tons of people and lots of fun! We all sang and danced, played games, talked, swam, and met people. I wore a two piece bathing suit. I wore short shorts (Who wears short shorts). There was drinking, laughing, family, boys. The only thing I would've changed is Lindsey. I love you, LINDSEY!!

*Cooper and Lindsey called me last night and got my voicemail. Well, Lin did and Muffin kept saying "Hey, Kristen! Hey!" I kept the message. I love when he loves me. Don't y'all want to see more pictures of him? YAY!!

My house is a wreck and I have no energy to do more than one little thing at a time. Dirty dishes are piled in the sink and the dishwasher is waiting to be unloaded. There are towels that need to be washed. My bedroom is overwhelmed with clutter. I'm embarrassed to even get anyone to come help me. *Sigh* So, yeah...

I am also getting a little nervous because I finished "Twilight", "New Moon", "Mommy Tracking", etc... I'll be reviewing "Testing Kate" and "Mommy Tracking" by Whitney Gaskell (both fabulous!). I'm almost finished with Pattie Boyd's "Wonderful Tonight..." and I'll do something on it. I don't like not having a pile of books waiting! I do have "Second Chance" by Jane Green that I've already started and I have "She, Myself & I" by Whitney Gaskell. Tell me what to get next. PLEASE!!!

I'm also working on finding a foundation for Jill at EVERYDAY. Let me know YOUR make up questions.

Lastly, TIGERS WIN AGAIN!!!! LSU-28 South Carolina-16. These are the most points the TIGERS have allowed in a game this season. Now, the GEORGIA DAWGS just have to win and everything will be good in this house. (It's 20-10 Dawgs!!)

Dawgs are TIED with Alabama. Oh my heart!! Oh, Alabama just scored a fieldgoal. Good grief. I'm about to have a heart attack. Nick Satan CANNOT win. OHHHHHHH TOUCHDOWN DAWGS!!! FINAL- 26-23. Way to go Mikey! Mark Richt is an amazing coach. I bet Luke done loss his mine...

Krazy with Krzr

This is my new cell phone, the Motorolakrzr. Krzr. KRAZER. Well, it's driving me crazy. It's soooooo way smarter than it should be and I don't need all that. My brother, the techie, talked me into it and now he's in Pennsylvania on buisiness so he can't help me with it.

It's a very cute phone. It slim like the razer phone but, the width is smaller too. But, last night, I suddenly realized that it's not making noises. It's not ringing out loud or notifying me when I have a text! For the first day that I had it, it was doing both. I have no idea what I touched or how to fix it.

This is why I always got cell phones that were the bottom of the barrell. Ones that were just capable of making and recieving calls and texts. That's all I need. I don't need it to be a camera, a computer, a jukebox, etc.... I don't need it to make me breakfast or drive me around.

I really don't need it to make me KRAZIER!

A Couple Things...

-I took a nap and had the weirdest dream. My mom had a blog and didn't tell me. And I was so so so so MAD! I was angry that she'd lied to me. And I was crying and yelling. I was out of control. But, don't worry, I have crazy dreams all the time. Very vivid, real dreams that are sometimes really good and some really not. Some are so incredible I don't want to wake up. This one was just nonsense.

-I'm starving and I don't know what I want. I hate that. I don't want to start cooking. Luke's asleep (we are kinda stuffy and sneezy over here) and I'm not going to start anything mayjah (a little nod to Lin). But, I don't want just a bowl of cereal. I don't know.

-Teach your children phone etiquette or don't let them "play" with the phone. If that pisses you off or offends you, I'm sorry. This is my blog and if you read it regularly, you know how much I LOVE kids. But, I am not a fan of parents who allow their children to just run around and act like idiots. *Yes, there is a reason I'm saying this.* I'm minding MY own business in MY own house. MY cell phone rings. I pick it up and say, "Hello" and a kid (not over 5, I'm sure, and hope) says "Heeellllloooooo? Heeelllllooooo?" So, as I am sure it's not Daniel, he's very "grown-up" and all "How are you today?" on the phone, I say "Hello" one more time and don't hear anything so I hang up and am annoyed. Then, the phone rings again. MY phone. "Hello" and the little boy says, "Who this is?" Now, I cannot stand grammar like this but, yes I understand that he's a little kid (even though people must be speaking like this in front of him). I also CANNOT stand when someone calls MY phone and asks ME who I am before identifying themselves. Once again, I realize that this is a child but, if you are going to allow your child to use the phone without you even supervising (obviously), teach him etiquette. So after I kept saying, who is this? What's your name? Who are you looking for? And him answering only, "Heeellllloooooo?" And, "Who this is?" He FINALLY says, "Where's maw maw?" I told him there were none here and he had the wrong number. I figured he would keep calling me if I didn't clear it all up. OK, so, please teach your kids manners. And if they are young and using the phone, help them.

-Have you all finished reading your Harry Potter book?

-What to EAT? Shrimp & pasta, the old stand-by, I'm sure.

-I am very upset that I missed Monk last night with my man, SNOOP DOGG, guest starring. I had to pick Luke up at the airport in N BR. He missed his flight in Houston (to Baton Rouge), because his flight from Detroit was late coming into Houston. So, they put him on standby on the 2:20 flight and confirmed him for the 3:10 flight. Well, at 2:20, he calls and said that he did not make the 2:20 and the 3:10 was cancelled. The next flight wasn't until 7. He could drive home and be here by 7 or about (he tells me). While driving, he calls me and tells me that he hopes his luggage is in BR because he packed his keys. WHAT A MORON. Really. Of course the bag wasn't there! Who does that? Do you pack your keys?

I love toile! LOVE. And I need lamps.

I love these t-shirts soooooo much. I loved Jem when I was little. Remember the pic of me as "JEM", Sarah? I need to scan that, huh? And, this "Dirty Dancing" I Carried A Watermelon... Classic! When the movie came out (I was about 8) and into about Freshman year, people said I looked like "Baby".

La, La, La...

I have been out of sorts lately. I don't know what the deal is. I'm still trying to wean myself off of some medications and that has caused me to get headaches. I've also been so tired the past two days! Yuck! And Luke is working in Mississippi, so I'm just here in the house with Layla. I've been watching tv (tell me what you thought of Grey's last night) and reading. Oh, and hanging out on my new favorite site www.funnyordie.com OMG, please go there!! It's like YouTube but Will Ferrell started it so he's in some of the videos. Check out "The Landlord", "David Blaine Street Magic Part 2" and ummm, well "The Landlord" is the best! Will Ferrell is in it.

So, I have not much to say right now. I want to see what you have to say about Grey's and then I'll do my bit on it- a little somethin' new for ya! Whoo... And let me know what your favs are on YouTube and funnyordie.
