Baby Buzz
January Babies! I have not done celeb (or any other) babies lately. So, I am doing January babies. I also want to discuss baby names and situations. Like, can someone call "dibs" on a name? What do you consider rules in naming? Alls fair? Tuesday, January 6, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck welcomed their second child. The baby, a girl, SERAPHINA ROSE ELIZSBETH, joined sister Violet Ann. Monday, January 12, Alison Sweeny (Biggest Loser, Days of Our Lives) and husband, Dave Sanov, welcomed their second child. A daughter they named, MEGAN HOPE, joined big brother, Benjamin Edward. Thursday, January 15, Bear Grylls (Man vs Wild) and wife, Shara, welcomed their third child and son. HUCKLEBERRY EDWARD JOCELYNE joined big brothers, Marmaduke and Jesse. When asked about the interesting name choices, Grylls laughed and said, "Jesse, Duke and Huck! Won't that be great when they are 18?" Monday, January 19, country singer Jo Dee Messina gave birth to her first child. Messina and husband, Chris Deffenbaugh, welcomed a son, NOAH ROGER. Monday, January 19, David Eigenberg (Steve on Sex and the City) and wife, Chrysti, welcomed a son. They named the boy, LOUIE STEVEN EIGENBERG. Thursday, January 22, Lizzie Grubman (publisist and former reality star) and husband, Chris Stern, welcomed their second son. JACK ALEXANDER was born two months before his due date but is said to be doing well. He joins big brother, Harrison "Harry" Irving. So, let's discuss the names, shall we? SERAPHINA ROSE ELIZABETH- I don't like Seraphina. I just don't. I like Rose and Elizabeth and I even like two middles names. I like big sister's name, Violet. I don't think I'd use either for a first name though. MEGAN HOPE- Megan is not my style and seems a little outdated for a 2009 baby. I love the name Hope though. HUCKLEBERRY EDWARD JOCELYNE- I think that it's a lot. I like the "cool" sentiment behind it and I like Huckleberry better than Marmaduke. Huckleberry is a better middle name. Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Brad Paisley (who I love, both of them) have a son named William Huckleberry. They call him Huck. NOAH ROGER- Noah is too popular for me. I like the name though. LOUIE STEVEN- I think that Louie is cute. The name has meaning for Blue and me. I doubt we will use it though. I think that it's funny that his middle name is Steven. JACK ALEXANDER- I love, love, love the name Jack. I don't know why I just love it but I do. My little brother wants to name his son that. I think that Alexander is a nice middle name. Harrison is GREAT, too. It's on my long list of boy names. Names that are currently on my radar-Evalyn/Evelyn nicknamed Evie- Blue likes Evie and I really do too. I like Eva but SIL's mom's name is Eva pronounced Ava. I also like Eve and Evangeline. Sylvia/SylvieAudrey- I HAVE to always so this one because it's my favoriteVivienne- and this oneIslaCharlotteDaisy- it's Blue's grandmother's first name but she goes by Ruth- bringing me toRuth/RuthieHelena- Hel-lane-ah, right? Cecilia/Cecelia- Cece- cute! This name has grown on me a lot. A LOT! Sadie- I LOVE this. Do you think it's too "dog name" ? Those are just some that I've heard/read/thought of lately. There are no boy's names because I love tons of them. TONS. Plus, we pretty much (99.999) have a boy's name ready. Labels: baby names, Celebs

Baby Buzz
It's been awhile since I've done this so there are a lot of babies to update about. These are the ones from December that I didn't post here. Tuesday, December 9, Taylor Hanson and his wife, Natalie, welcome son VIGGO MORIAH. Viggo joins Jordan Ezra, Penelope Anne and River Samuel. Wednesday, December 10, Usher and wife Tamika Foster welcomed their second son, NAVIYD ELY. Naviyd joins brother Usher V, aka Cinco. Saturday, December 13, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber welcomed their second son, SAMUEL KAI. Samuel joins big brother Alexander "Sasha" Pete. Thursday, December 18, (a girl finally!), Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn welcomed their third daughter, EMERY HOPE. Emery joins big sisters Finley Faith and Avery Grace. Sunday, December 28, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell welcomed twin daughters named DOLLY REBECCA ROSE and CHARLIE TAMERA TULIP. Dolly is in honor of Dolly Parton, Charlie is for Jerry's brother and Tamera is for Rebecca's sister. Tuesday, January 6, Jennifer Garner and Ben Afflek welcomed their second daughter. No name or other birth details have been released as of yet. This baby joins big sister, Violet Anne. (I am just dying to know her name. I don't even like these people!)Names to discussViggo Moriah- Viggo is very cool. I automatically think of Viggo Mortensen which is not bad. Moriah sounds girly to me. (Out of his sibs' names, I like Penelope. I also like Ezra for a middle name.)Naviyd Ely- Is it Nah-veed? I like Ely but I like it as a nickname for Elias. Samuel Kai- I like Samuel. Kai is kinda strange but surfer-y, in my opinion. Emery Hope- I think of emery boards. I can see it being a cutesy name for a little girl. I don't really love it. Hope is very pretty. Dolly Rebecca Rose- Dolly sounds like a name for a pet- a horse, dog, something like that. I LOVE Dolly Parton though. I like that Rebecca put her own name in there! Charlie Tamera Tulip- I'm not a fan of Charlie for a girl. I like it a lot for a boy though. I don't see Tulip as a good name but I guess if Rose and Lily can be then why can't Tulip. What do you think? Labels: baby names, Celebs

Hollywood Babies
Celeb babies born in December- Amy Jo Johnson and her fiance, Oliver Giner, welcomed a daughter on December 1. The baby was named FRANCESCA CHRISTINE.
Donovan McNabb and his wife, Roxie, welcomed fraternal twins (a boy and a girl) on Tuesday, December 2. The twins joined big sister, ALEXIS. Their names have not been released.
Gena Lee Nolin gave birth to a daughter, STELLA MONROE, on Wednesday, December 3. Stella joins big brother, HUDSON LEE. Gena and her husband, Cale Hulse, had children from previous relationships- CAIA and SPENCER.
Eric Mabius and his (wonderful, brave, fabulous, princess) wife, Ivy Sherman (you'll see why such adjectives in a second) welcomed their second son, RYLAN JAXSON, on Sunday. Rylan weighed a little more than 10 pounds. Did you catch that??? WHAT? Yes, he did. He joins big brother, MAXFIELD ELLIOT.
Nigel Barker and wife Christen Chin Barker welcomed their second child, a girl, on Sunday. JASMINE INES was born in New York City and joins big brother, JACK.
Names to pick apart
Francesca Christine- I like Francesca. It's totally my kinda girl name- long and feminine and flowy. I like the nickname Frannie. I don't really love Christine because that is what my own name gets confused with.
Alexis- I don't hate it. I wouldn't use it. I used to love it, in the 90s. I feel like almost every family that has multiples, major multiples (4! 6!), there is an Alexis.
Stella Monroe- I like this a lot. I love Monroe with Stella. I love Monroe as a middle name.
Hudson Lee- I like Hudson. I think it's pretty "right now". Lee is a name that a lot of people in my family have. It's good together.
Caia- I don't love it. I really don't like the spelling.
Spencer- I have negative connotations to this name.
Rylan Jaxson- Rylan is okay. Jaxson, I like better as Jackson.
Maxfield Elliot- I like Max but not Maxfield. I'm not a huge fan of Elliot.
Jasmine Ines- Jasmine is the Disney princess. I guess I have no room to talk since I love the name Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) but I'm not actually going through with naming my child that.
What do you think?

Hollywood Babies
Adam Sandler and his wife, Jackie, welcomed a baby girl on November 2. They named her, SUNNY MADELINE. She joins big sister, Sadie,2. Michelle Monaghan and her husband, Peter White, a graphic designer, welcomed a daughter on November 5. They named her WILLOW KATHERINE. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz welcomed a boy last night, November 21. They named him, BRONX MOWGLI. Mowgli is the lead character in Disney's "The Jungle Book." The two had an "Alice in Wonderland" themed wedding and a "Winnie the Pooh" themed baby shower. Name Discussion- Sunny MadelineWillow Katherine Bronx MowgliBlue LOVES Sunny. I don't hate it but I'm not gonna use it. I think it's cute. I kinda like Willow, too. I think Willow Katherine is pretty. It's not a name I would use but it's pretty. Bronx Mowgli is ridiculous. P.S.- TV blog has sad news and some new posts... Labels: baby names, Celebs

Just Wondering
What do you think of the name ASTRID
The book that I am reading has a character with this name and I'm sorta intrigued by it. I was not as drawn to it when I read White Oleander and that was the main character's name. This time, however, I am. I can't say that I love it, or even like it. I just stop and re-read it and roll it over my tongue a few times. I say it out loud and have thought about it on a little girl.
I am so obsessed with names. Mostly of the female variety because we cannot agree on one of those. I want something familiar but not common and something feminine. Blue says that all the names I like sound like "old ladies". Names I'm in love with right now (right now being the operative words)(no order):
-Evelyn (Eve,Evie)
-Audrey or Audra- Blue has defiantly vetoed this one. It was a front runner for me and he says NO!
- Julianna- This one is VERY possible. He doesn't hate it and says he could, "get used to it." I have one reservation about this name- the name Julie. No offense to anyone with this name, but that is not the name I want. I like JuliA and Julianna or Julianne. Are all these names different to you? Is Julie interchangeable with Julianna? I don't thinks it's Julie Anna.
-Aurora- He says "eh" My mom doesn't like it but (sorry) that doesn't matter.
-Ruth (Ruthie) (It's Blue's grandmother's name)
-Georgina (I love this! Nickname Georgie, how cute?)
You can be honest (but nice). I like the idea of one of the names (first or middle) being a family name from one of our families. No, I'm not pregnant yet (I don't think) but I am just kinda weird.

Everybody's Doing It ETA
I've seen a few different bloggers who have written some baby name lists so I thought I'd follow suit. You know how much I love names. It's really hard for us to agree on names though. Also, I am uncomfortable naming a child two "non-family" names so one of the names has to be from one of our families. Am I rambling? Sorry. GIRL NAMES I LOVE-AudreyAudra (obviously one or the other)JuliannaCorinneRuth- Ruthie (Blue's grandmother)VivianIsabella/Isabelle (this one is probably out because of popularity)KenleyAurora (I cannot believe that I forgot this one. I LOVE it) (Blue is a fan of Sunshine, Mollie Sunshine, so maybe I can sway him to Aurora for it's meaning)GIRL MNs (maybe FNs)CharlotteAnn (my mom's MN)Rhea (family name on my dad's side)(my MN)Elizabeth (family name on both side)Emma (my grandma's name)(Blue hates this name)Ruth (Blue's grandmother)Eva (an aunt on my father's side)Margaret (my grandmother)KateBOY NAMES I LOVE (For First or Middle)Michael (My bro's MN)Walker ThomasHarry (my dad, my grandfather, Blue's grandfather, Blue's uncle)Sawyer (Blue HATES)Asher (Blue is "eh")Brett Holden (I have a cousin that just named her baby Haden. Is Holden too close?)DavisCorbin Grady Most of the names I like, Blue hates. He likes Mollie for a girl. I like that but it's not my naming style for a girl. He doesn't have a list either, just Mollie. I think sometimes he just likes being difficult. Some of those boy names are out, too, because Blue hates them. Labels: baby names

Still Tired But So Happy!
- I'm reading a book about Cajuns and it's not entirely accurate and that kinda pisses me off. Still, I'm a sucker for books about or based in Louisiana.
- What are you reading? I need recs.
- How do people NOT read? My parents have always read to us and are always reading books (for themselves).
- YAY! TV last night, right? Did ya'll watch Grey's and Survivor and I have a crush on DAN on Survivor.
- I've decided on the perfect first and middle names for a baby girl and baby boy. :) Maybe even a Diary nickname.
- No, I'm not pregnant. That is the next big project.
- Moving is weird and fun and exhusting and exciting and emotional. Our first night was great and weird. I couldn't sleep at first because it was SO QUITE!! We lived on a pretty busy street and we had those noisy neighbors. In this house, no noise at all. Even Lay was all quite and sleepy.
- Every single thing in the house is clean- all the clothes and the bed linens and everything. That is just amazing to me.
- I don't understand the need to put drunken, whorey pictures of yourself on MySpace or whatever. I also don't understand the need to beat a dead horse. Let. it. go.

Minnie's Story
Minnie Driver reportedly gave birth on Friday, September 5 to a baby boy. The baby boy, HENRY STORY DRIVER, weighed 9lbs 12oz. Minnie has not identified the father of the baby. WOW, big baby, huh? I LOVE the name Henry. I don't get the name Story, though. Jenna Elfman named her son Story Elias, remember? Labels: baby names, Celebs, gossip

Baby Buzz

Dah-daaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! YAY! My fav, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale welcomed their second child, a boy, today. ZUMA NESTA ROCK ROSSDALE was born at 12:46PM in Las Angeles and weighed 8 and a half pounds. Their oldest child, son KINGSTON JAMES, turned 2 in May.
Matt Damon and wife, Luciana(Lucy), welcomed baby girl, GIA ZAVALA, on Wednesday. Baby Gia joins big sisters ISABELLA, 2, and ALEXIA, 10.
Ricky Martin is livin la vida babies! He is the father of twin boys born via a surrogate. His rep says, "The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care..." The boys' names and location of birth was not given.
*I was just gonna do those three, but I'll go ahead and do all the celeb babies that have been born in August. The ones that we know about.
Clay Aiken's son, PARKER FOSTER AIKEN was born on August 8 at 8:08AM (8/8/8) and weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces. I'm surprised they didn't just say he weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces!! Anyweird, (a la Michael K, dlisted.com), Parker's mom is Clay's pal, Jaymes Foster.
Busy Phillips, who shot episodes of Sarah Connor Chronicles while in her third trimester, gave birth to her first child, daughter BIRDIE LEIGH SILVERSTEIN on August 14. Birdie's daddy is screenwriter Marc Silverstein. She weighed in at 9 pounds 7 ounces (wow!) and was 21 1/2 inches long. Two facts about Busy Phillips, in case you aren't familiar with her, she was on Dawson's Creek and she is Michelle Williams' BFF (and little Mathilda's godmother).
Up next in August:
Laila Ali (boy)
Minnie Driver
Laura Allen
Let's talk names now. For the girls we have: GIA ZAVALA and BIRDIE LEIGH. For the boys we have: ZUMA NESTA ROCK and PARKER FOSTER. I like Gia but not Zavala. I think Birdie is cute for a nickname (Hope Floats). Zuma Nesta is crazy. It reminds me of Zima and nests. I like Kingston A LOT though and so does Luke but I don't know if I could name my child that because it's so obviously Gwen Stefani's son's name.

Baby Buzz- On the Double Revisited
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are now the proud parents of twins! A baby boy, KNOX LEON, and a baby girl, VIVIENNE MARCHELINE, were born via c-section Saturday in Nice, France. Her doctor reports that, "The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly. Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well." He also says that Knox weighs 5.03 lbs and Vivienne weighs 5 lbs and that their birth was moved up for "medical reasons". Names, lets discuss. KNOX LEON- Knox is something I've never heard of as a name before. I think of Fort Knox. I'm not saying I don't like it, it's something I have to sit with. I don't dislike it. Leon- I'm wondering how they are pronouncing it. Are they saying it the French way (which is how I said it when I first saw it) or the American way. I don't know how to write out the French pronunciation. *I just read that Knox is Brad's grandfather's name/middle name. Vivienne is one of my FAVORITE girl names. I love, love, love it- spelled like this, with the French pronunciation. I like the other way (Vivian), too but I really love this one. I love Vivi so much. Marcheline is Angelina's late mother's name. I think the two names go well together. I don't think that Zahara and Shiloh and Vivienne really go together, but I guess she doesn't care about that. Maddox, Pax and Knox do go well together though. So, three boys and three girls for the Jolie-Pitt clan. Awesome! Oh, also the mayor of Nice called Brad and Angelina "the most famous couple of the world"- do you agree with that? Labels: babies, baby names, Celebs, gossip, twins

Sunday Born on Monday
While searching for Baby McConaughey's name (see below)(Thanks Kel for the heads up), I found this bit of info on PEOPLE.com. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban did have a reason for naming baby Sunday Rose Kidman Urban what they did. Nicole's father, Antony, says she is named for Sunday Reed a 20th-century artist's muse and Keith's late grandmother Rose. Antony Kidman told an Australian newspaper, "I have read a bit about Sunday [Reed] and her husband John-she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century. The name Sunday stuck with me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it." Labels: baby names, Celebs, gossip
Baby Buzz- Updated

It's early in the week and the babies are keeping me busy! Last night, Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camilla Alves, welcomed a baby boy to the world. The picture at left shows the couple just days ago on the 4th (courtesy of PEOPLE.com).
The baby boy-no name has been released, yet-was born on Monday night, July, 7 in Los Angeles at 6:22pm. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces.
I can't wait to hear the name, of course. Matthew has a brother with a son named MILLER LYTE, yes, for real. L likes it. At least he's not named Bud Lyte or Milwaukee's Best (which would be our kid's name).
I'm sure Matthew and Camilla's baby is beautiful as both his parents are gorgeous. I'll update on the name as soon I know.
UPDATED- I've read on some gossipy sites that the couple named the boy, LEVI ALVES McCONAUGHEY. On one site it says that the name comes from Levi being another name for the apostle Matthew in the Bible. Matthew and Camila also released this statement: "We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin'."—Matthew David McConaughey and Camila Maria Saraiva de Araujo Alves.
I love how spanish people have big long names. I like Levi. It fits him, too. It's not crazy though. I wouldn't use it but it's a name and it has a great meaning.

Baby Buzz

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed a baby girl to the world this morning in Nashville, TN. SUNDAY ROSE KIDMAN URBAN is her name and she weighed 6 pounds 7.5 ounces. Mother and baby are said to be doing well.
Which celeb will be next to have their baby? Camilla Alves? Gwen Stefani? Angelina Jolie? Who else is pregnant?
What do you think of the name, of course? I've never heard of someone naming their child Sunday. I've heard of Tuesday and Wednesday from the Addams Family (not that I like those) but never Sunday.
Also, what do you think of the baby having four names- both parents' last names with no hyphen? I love that but every tells me I can't do it because we're not royalty.

Baby Buzz- On the Double
Updated July 2, 10:53am It's happening soon and it's true this time. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt checked in to Lenval Hospital in Nice, France as scheduled today. A spokesperson for the hospital says, "There's no urgency. It's been planned for a long time. She's very well. Everything is fine." Angleina and Brad are having twins, rumored to be girls, but that fact has not been confirmed. A few weeks ago, an Internet rumor had the twins born and named Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane. That proved to be false, obviously. Also, a bidding war for the twins' first pictures has already begun, reportedly topping up to $20 million. The money they received from the photos of their first biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, was donated to charity. The couple are also the parents of Maddox Chivan,6, Pax Thien, 4, and Zahara Marley, 3. Angelina gave birth to Shiloh in 2006 by Cesarean section. The other children were adopted from around the world with Pax being the newest addition in March of 2007. Details to come as they become available (and I have time to post them). Sources- Telegraph.co.uk, E! News, Google Images, Wikipedia10:23am- Angelina's doctor is going to be addressing the press. Also, I wanted to correct myself- she apparently did not check in to the maternity suite yesterday, but over the weekend. Some reports say that this is earlier than expected while others claim her to have planned it.Labels: babies, baby names, Celebs, gossip, pregnancies

Old News & New
Miss Jamie Lynn Spears and fiance Casey Aldridge welcomed a daughter Thursday morning. Around 9:30 am at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS, MADDIE BRIANN was born. She weighed 7lbs 11oz and reportedly has a head full of hair. Jamie Lynn was discharged from the hospital Friday overnight.
I love this picture of her. I think she is pretty here. What a pretty color on her!
One of my favorite comedians died Sunday. George Carlin died of heart failure at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica. He was 71.

My Very Favorites (Right Now) *EDITED
*denotes the new stuff that I put in on 6/13 at 10:57amI am a big huge name freak as most of you know. I like to discuss names for babies, middle names and how they all go together. I like hearing new names and putting them with family names or names I love already. Swistle has a BLOG dedicated to naming babies and I love it over there. I figured since I'm off the pill and TTC and all, I should share my (current) favorite baby names *(in no perticular order): Girl 1. Isabella- This is pretty definite for baby girl number one. 2. Julianne/a- I love this name. I like classic sounding, long feminine names. I also love Anna & Annie*. Ann is my mom's middle name. 3. Elizabeth- A middle name and a family name on both sides of our families4. Amelia- I like it a lot. Lindsey can't say it though. She says "Emilia" then starts sounding like Night At the Roxbury "Emilioooooooooo"5. Mollie- Luke's choice and I like it6. Sunshine- Luke's choice for a middle name (He's a hippy at heart)7. Rhea- (pronounced RAY) The first middle name of our first daughter, it's a family name on my father's side. 8.Vivienne- I love, love it. Said the French way9. *Eva- This is a name on my father's side and can be shortened to Evie (EE-vie). I like Evie a lot. This is all easier than Evelynn. 10.Corinne- I think this name is gorgeous. It "goes" with the others. Lindsey's cousin named her (sweet) little girl this though. Boys1.Asher- My very favorite boy name EVER. I love it. Luke likes it, too which is amazing because he hates everything. But he knows a guy in GA with the name. The guy has a questionable background or something. UGH! 2.Harry- My dad's name. My grandfather's name. Luke's grandfather's name. Luke's uncle's name. It's just very hard to put a middle name with it.3. Sawyer- I like it. It sounds southern. It's a last name for a first name, my boy name style. 4. Walker- Luke likes this one. He really wants Herschel Walker which is a big, fat NO. 5. Ryder- I like this a lot. One of my favorite Dead songs is "I Know You Rider". Plus, I think it's a great name. I like hearing Kate Hudson talking about her son, Ryder. 6. Thomas- I think this is just a good, solid boy name. 7. Michael- This is my brother's middle name and it's a name we both love. 8. *Hudson- I love this name. I like "H" names. We used to really like Holden but we have an AIDEN & HADEN in our families. 9. Grady- A preppy name that I have always liked. 10. Anderson- It's my grandmother-in-law's maiden name & I really love it. My SIL said she'll kill me if I use it though... 11. *Jonah- I love, love, love this. It's one of my true favs but Luke says NO and no one else really likes it either (mom, dad, etc). Labels: baby names, TTC

The Name Game

We have been commenting on celebrities' babies' names but, I have not had a formal "Name Game" post up in awhile. I love, love, love this game so...
Here is the first official one.
Girl Name
Camilla- means Perfect. It's Italian. The girlfriend and baby-mama of Matthew Mc. #825 on latest SSA list.
I like Camille better.
Boy Name
Matthew- means Gift of God. It's English. From the Greek form (Matthias) of the Hebrew name Matatiyah (HUH?) of the Biblical apostle. Matthew Broderick, actor. Matthew McConaughey, actor, my boyfriend. Matthew Perry, actor, looks like Lindsey's husband. **Also name of the boy I first kissed! #5 on latest SSA list.
This name has appeared on my list. My cousin, Jennifer, is pg for her 3rd son and says she likes this name. I think it's very cute.
Unisex Name (Which sex do you think is this name better suited for?)
Cameron- means "bent nose", is Scottish and is # 289 on the SSA List.
I like this name. It's not my naming style for a girl but, I like it. I do like it for a boy, too. I usually think that unisex names go to the girls. Unless people have started going crazy naming girls outright boy names(Matthew, Louis, Harry, Justin, Robert, Gregory, John). I guess that's how we got these in the first place, though. All this to say, Cameron, for me, is an exception. I like it for either sex. It doesn't fit with my naming style for either sex, though.

She Wanted Her Own Day
Christina Aguilera & Jordan Bratman welcomed their baby boy on Saturday, January 12th at 10:05 PM, a rep for the couple told PEOPLE (that's where I got the info 1st). The baby is named MAX LIRON BRATMAN. He weighed 6lbs 2oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. LIRON is Hebrew for "my song" or "my joy".This past week was a Hollywood baby explosion! I didn't post about all that I read but, here's a rundown: *Toni Collette has daughter SAGE FLORENCE on Wednesday, January 9th. Dad is husband Dave Galafassi. *Stella McCartney has third child, a son, BECKETT ROBERT LEE on Tuesday, January 8th. She and husband, Alisdhair Willis, have MILLER ALISDHAIR JAMES, 2, and BAILEY LINDA OLWYN, 13 months. *Monica, the singer, and her fiance, Rodney Hill, had their second son, ROMELO MONTEZ HILL. Montez is after Monica's brother. The couple have a 2 year old named RODNEY III aka LIL ROCK. yeah.Discuss names: Max, Sage, Beckett, Romelo. I like Max but not a ton. Sage- no.Beckett, I do like. Romelo sounds like candy. So, who is next? Lots of people due in March. Labels: babies, baby names, Celebs

Garnet Babies!
Whoa! January babies EVERYWHERE. I am one, my grandmother, Sarah (the 14th), and now lots of little Hollywood tykes, too. Garnet is a great birthstone. I have a ton. I looooove red.
Nicole Richie gave birth to a baby girl named HARLOW WINTER KATE MADDEN tonight (Friday). The baby weighed 6lbs 7ozs and both are doing well. What do you think of the name? I like Harlow. It's very cool and hip. Winter, ummmm, no. Sarah and I knew a girl in high school with that name, right Sarah? I can't wait to see pics of the little girl.
There have been conflicting reports from
different magazines all day about
Xtina and baby. Last I heard, she was still pregnant with her baby boy. E! News & Life & Style magazine both are reporting that she gave birth at 4PM yesterday but, her rep tells
US Weekly that she is still pregnant and not in labor. I guess we will see.
Courtney Thorne-Smith gave birth to son JACOB EMERSON FISHMAN. She and husband, Roger Fishman, were married on New Year's Day 2007. This is their first child.
