I'm doing this. It might be tres silly but, I just love names and I'm having such a ball on the name websites. Here's how it'll work:
*Everyday I'll post a girl name and a boy name (maybe a unisex name). I'll give you information that I've found on the names- meanings, origins, who has the names, # it ranks on the Social Security Administration (SSA), etc.
* You will tell me what you think of the names. Love 'em, hate 'em, reminds you of...? Lindsey is the funniest/most frustrating at this. EVERY name reminds her of something crazy. She'll provide entertainment.
*These names will not necessarily be ones from my list. Actually, not at all. They'll be ones I hear, see, randomly choose. So, just because it's one of the names of the day doesn't mean I like it.
Let's do it, 'K? Fun!
Girl Name
Abigail- joy of the father, origin- Hebrew,
Abigail Breslin (Actress), Abigail Adams (first lady), Abigail Van Buren (columnist)
#6 on the SSA
I like this name. I think it's very popular, though but hey, then again so is Isabella and I'm using that! I love the meaning of it. I also really think Abbie/Abby is a cute nickname and the whole name is pretty, too
*This name was used because it is the little girl's name on the show I'm watching.
Boy Name
Miller- mill worker, Origin-English,
Arthur Miller (Playwright), Miller Alasdair James Willis (Son of Stella McCartney, grandson of Paul McCartney, age 2)
I think this is a very cute name. It's different and very "English" sounding. It would sound very "ta-ta" with our last name. I like using traditionally "surnames" for first names. One website shows this name as a unisex name. I do not agree.
I used this because I was reading something about Stella McCartney.
