Instant Classic

Jacob Hester, the 22 year-old LSU Tiger Running Back, is the "team leader", says Coach Les Miles after LSU's 28-24 VICTORY over Florida tonight. The game tonight was insane! I'd have given anything to be there but, not in the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up nose-bleed seats- hello, steep!! There were 92,910 fans at Death Valley and they were wild during the entire time. So was I.

The Tigers did not lead until the final minutes of the game and then that was it. It was a sweet victory. The sportscasters are calling it everything from an "Instant Classic" to "One for the ages." Jacob Hester is my hero!!! He played his heart out. I was in tears as he lay on on the field after his winning touchdown. I kept thinking of his wife, Katie. I would be a mess if it were Luke. I was extremely proud of Coach Miles, too. He made some edgy, risky calls that paid off. I didn't agree with one of them but he trusted his boys and he is owning his wins.

The icing on the cake- USC lost. They LOST!!! They were beaten at home (AT HOME) by Stanford. I screamed so hard when I saw that. I've been waiting YEARS for that. Literally, I've been waiting years for LSU to be here, number 1, USC is number 2 and LOST!! Who knows where they will be tomorrow when the polls come out.

So, even though I almost had a heart attack about 25-35 times during the game tonight- I LOVE LSU, JACOB HESTER, and LES MILES!! I'm so proud.
