Holiday Weekend Weddings
Two Hollywood couples were married yesterday in two different countries.
The first
Apprentice winner, Bill Rancic married Guiliana Dupandi. Guiliana has my DREAM JOB as an E! News co-anchor. The wedding was held in a church on the island of Capri. Guiliana is from Naples so the ceremony was said in both English and Italian. After a traditional Catholic mass wedding, buses took the guests to Capri's center piazza where Neopolitan dancers sang and danced around them as the bride and groom led the group to the reception at the Grand Hotel Quisiana. Guiliana wore a white, strapless and beaded Monique Lhuillier dress and veil designed especially for her.
Kate Walsh, formerly of
Grey's Anatomy, wed movie executive, Alex Young, last night. The wedding was held in Ojai Presbyterian Church in the town of Ojai north of Los Angeles. Kate also wore a custom Monique Lhuillier gown. Among the 100 guests were
Grey's co-stars, Katherine Hiegl (Izzie), Sara Ramirez (Callie), Chandra Wilson, (Miranda Bailey), and Justin Chambers (Alex). Also, Kate Beckinsale and her husband Len Wiseman. After the ceremony, a "lavish" reception was scheduled to follow at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa's Casa Elar, a Spanish-style estate where guests enjoyed a sit down dinner.
I was married on a holiday weekend- Memorial Day. I was NOT in Monique Lhuillier.
