Do you wear perfume?
Which one(s) do you wear?
Which one(s) do you have memories of from childhood (your first, your mom, grandmother?) or other times of your life?
*There is a reason behind this question. I read in one of my mags that perfume sales are down and that less and less women wear it. This is such a shock to me because I am so smell driven. I think I'll write more about this once I get some feedback.*
I wear perfume all the time. It's a huge deal to me and always has been. I remember my mother wearing Anne Klein when I was young. Her scent (the perfume, her own smell, my house) would linger on my scrunchies and I would take them out of my hair during school and smell them. My mom's smell always makes me feel safe, happy, relaxed. She wears different perfumes now (it was Breathless from VS but not anymore) but she still has a smell that is only my mom.
I love pretty bottles of perfumes. I have lots and lots of them. I wear body splashes, too. My big favorite right now is Brown Sugar & Fig by BBWs. I have all the coordinating stuff. I also love the Enchanted Orchid. I love scents with gardenia, rose or woodsy scents. A perfume I loved was Calyx. That was a while back. I also really like SJP's Lovely.

Shoeaddict Asks... ETA

I've been wanting to do a post about this for a little while but after reading Tiffani's blog today, I decided to go for it.
Are there tv shows, movies, or the like that you don't allow your children to watch even though they are geared towards kids? What shows or characters do you just not like?
*I remember when my cousins were a little younger, there was a show on Disney- Lizzie McGuire maybe(?) that my aunt didn't like them to watch. The reason was because of the way the girls acted after they watched the show. They had little attitudes, tried to act older, etc... This is the kind of thing I'm talking about.*
Discuss....
ETA- I'm very curious to know what the deal is with Sponge Bob? Why don't some of you allow your kids to watch?

This question is kinda advice, kinda what do you do.
When buying gifts for your brother, sister, best friend, niece- do you spend more on Christmas or birthday?
I'm really, really needing to know this!

Are you sending out Christmas cards ?
Do you send pictures?
I LOVE sending and receiving Christmas cards. I'm going to get mine today. I usually have mine by now. We don't do pictures because Blue hates to have his picture taken but when we have a baby, we'll send one with her/him.

Do you have any tattoos? Where? Of what?
Do you want more? How old were you when you got it/them?
If no tattoos, do you want one?
There was a time that I wanted one. I never could decide what I wanted for sure so I didn't get it when I turned 18. I know what I'd get now, a red star and the letter "H"- for my grandfather and my maiden name, both on my foot. Luke doesn't want me to and I don't want it bad enough. My dad has one that he got on his 40th birthday.

How did you find out you were pregnant? What led you to believe that you were?
If you don't have kids, do you want them? How many do you want?
We don't have kids of our own, YET. More on that thought process later...
I'd like three as of now but, we'll start with one and see how that goes! I very much want children. I have lots and lots of fears. That's a post in itself that I will be sharing soon. I know that (think that?) I'm destined to have my Isabella.

Where did you go the last time you left your state? When will you leave the state again?
I went to Georgia in April for Luke's Granddaddy's funeral. I think that was the last time I left the state. The next time I leave the state is not yet planned. I'd love to fly somewhere great, just the two of us.

What's your favorite song at this moment?
I know I asked this
awhile back but, moments change, right?

Click to see what you and everyone else answered then.
Mine is The White Stripes cover of "Jolene" written by Dolly Parton. My brother plays it on the guitar and it is awesome. I also really love "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie right now.
P.S. Did y'all hear that Porter Wagner died? Do y'allknow who Porter Wagner is?

No big "Q" today because Blogger is mean.
What are you currently using as face wash and skin care? Are you the type to try new stuff all the time or find something fab and stick with it?
I love Philosophy skin care. It's amazing. Purity Made Simple face wash is great but, I also use Aveda's Toumaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser, too. I need an exfoliant. I always, always use Philosophy's Hope in A Jar. I have one in my purse even. It's THE BEST. LOVES it...

What do you do for Halloween?
Do you dress up?
What are you/your kids dressing as this year?
Do you decorate? Hand out candy?
We are handing out candy at my parents house. This is the first year in YEARS we've "done" Halloween. My parents live in a neighborhood now. I'm not dressing up. The last time I did was for the Anne Rice Ball about 4-5 years ago.

What is in your purse? What does your purse look like?
I change purses. I have LOTS- guess I'm also a purse/bag addict, too. I am using my new one now. I have my wallet, cellie, Philosophy lipgloss, keys, Bliss hand cream, Cargo lipstick in Marsika, Nars lipstick in Fire Down Below, a peppermint, a reciept from Sonic, a Darlybird note/reciept, a Brew Bachers menu and a pen. I got the purse and looked through it. I don't have that all memorized!

Tell me about your first kiss. Who? When? Where?
Discuss.
I had my first real kiss in the seventh grade with my boyfriend, Matt Percy. We were dancing at a friend's house. I thought he was a terrible kisser and I hated it! I have had better kisses since.

Tell me about your first job.
I did work for the family business for half a second but that was, ahem, not meant to be. The summer I was 13, I started working for the lady who gave me my first haircut. I answered phones, made appointments, swept the floor, etc. That continued every summer until I was 18. I washed hair, mixed color, unrolled perms and washed out color. I continued to work as a receptionist in salons all around big cities until I moved.

How many children do you have? If money (or your own fertility) were no object, how many would you have?
We don't have kids, yet. I'd like three, I think. Just one is going to be a challenge at this point though!

Are you named after someone?
Are your children named after someone?
Rhea is my middle name and is a family name on my father's side. I plan to give our first daughter the same middle name. I love family names. Luke is named after his paternal grandfather and is "the second" (II).
