A Christmas MeMe

This was an e-mail I got from a Georgia friend, Lauren.


1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? This year, I'm wrapping as much as possible.
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial because I'm allergic.
3. When do you put up the tree? I'm not having a tree at my house this year but, mom has one. Usually the week of Dec 1-7th
4. When do you take the tree down? After the New Year
5. Do you like eggnog? Good God, NO!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? baby dolls, NKOTB concert tickets, Strawberry Shortcake motorbike
7. Do you have a nativity scene? I have nothing Christmas-y of my own here.
8. Hardest person to buy for? Papa, Daddy, Lindsey, FIL
9. Easiest person to buy for? Haley (SIL), Shannon, mom, Cooper, Ms
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail
11 .Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I don't know? Nanny presents....
12 . Favorite Christmas Movie? Christmas Vacation
13 . Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes, but they are always good presents
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? rice dressing, sweet potato crunch, broccoli casserole
15 . Clear lights or colored on the tree? Whatever
16 . Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? We have only been to GA one year so far. That will change, I'm sure, once we have a bebe. We travel, sometimes, never very far: mom's, mamaw's, nanny's.
18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? I can!
19. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? We always go to mamaw's for Christmas Eve and do supper and presents there. We've been doing Christmas Eve presents at mom's house lately because Christmas Day is hectic. We alternate between mom's house and my dad's sister's (my Nanny) house on Christmas Day.
20. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Silly holiday tv, Christmas music EVERYWHERE
21 . Favorite ornament theme or color? Pink! hand-made by kids
22. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I shop all year and stock up on gifts. I start whenever for specific things. I'm a HUGE procrastinator which is not a great thing for anyone but, especially not for a person as unpredictable as me.
23. What, do you want for Christmas this year? A red coat, black boots, digital camera, perfume, makeup train case, and much more...
24. Angel or Star on top of tree? I love stars but, I like angels on top of trees
25. What do/did you leave for Santa? We used to leave cookies and milk for Santa. My kids will leave Diet Coke, The Beast and Oreos. ;)
